Vortex Shedding Flowmeter
The operating principle of the Vortex flowmeter is based on the Karman street. As the fluid flows over and under the solid body, vortices are shed alternately above and below. The shedding of these vortices due to the flow forms a vortex trail (Karman street).

7. Frequency output not affected by the fluid change in physical character and composition, meter factor (K) only considers shape and dimension of eddies. Measurement of volumetric flow can get compensation once it needs. Then no re-calibration meter factor needed if damaged parts be exchanged
